CNC Laser...
In 2013 we purchased our first CNC Laser Cutter/Engraver. I decided to get the largest machine we could afford at the time. This machine has a 4' x 5' working area. There are ways to accommodate larger items (when and, if possible).
We use this on a daily to basis to cutout letters, shapes, parts, templates and stencils for a variety of purposes.
This will cut, and engrave wood, and plastics. There are limitations of thickness.
We are set up to cut 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" Acrylic and 1/2" MDF panels on a daily basis.
We use both Laser Engrave and Cad-Link Engravelab 9.0 software to operate this system. The files we can run are specific (1) bit, .bmp and .dxf files. Others may be possible upon your request.
